"I have always known what would interest me visually as an artist, and this was to paint the familiar stuff. Every painting is an attempt to document a glimpse of observation of the world around me. Imagery often presents itself during occurrences of daily life. Light, colour, perspective and composition are vital elements that become an integral part of the work. A great portion of my artwork takes a narrative approach while surveying elements of popular and mass culture and it's influences on society.''
